Twelve People Will Take on The National 3 Peaks Challenge to Raise Money for Charity

Paul Shoosmith and Tom Shanks from Vivid Lighting,along with ten friends,will take on the National 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for charity.

They aim to raise5,000 pound in aid of Orchard Nurses,who help care for Tom's son Zavier,who lives with severe congenital sensory and motor peripheral neuropathy.

The mountains they will climb,in order of elevation,are Ben Nevis in Western Scotland,1,344 metres(4,409ft);Snowdon in North Wales,1,085 metres(3,560ft);and Scafell Pike in North-Western England,978 metres(3,209ft).

The challenge involves approximately 26miles of ascent and descent,with total travel approaching 475miles.
