The China Pavilion has quickly become one of the most popular, attracting nearly 18,000 tourists in two days since the opening of Expo Milano 2015 on Friday.
Presenting three themes, China Pavilion, China Corporate United Pavilion and Vanke Pavilion, the exhibit covers a total area of 6700 square meters and one of its highlights is the "Field of Hope" comprising some 20,000 shining artificial wheat straws.
Under the theme "Land of Hope, Food for Life", the China pavilion is designed to showcase the agricultural history and food culture of the civilization, as well as its future expectations for the world.
Items on display are a combination of modern technology and physical objects, such as the oracle bone script, Huashan rock paintings, Hani terraces, Beijing roast duck, Hybrid rice and the Agricultural Internet of Things.
The China Pavilion also Charts the country's progress and achievements through a series of activities, including China Pavilion Day, the Sino-Italian Agricultural and Food Forum, 11 featured exhibit items, Cultural Weeks and Days for 17 provinces and cities, 10 Corporate Days, dozens of economic and trade activities and a large number of art performances and intangible cultural heritage shows.
Expo Milano 2015, with the theme "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", focuses on agriculture, grain and food.
It is expected that more than 20 million visitors will pass through it's the 1.1 million square meters of exhibition space during the next six months.
