Festivals on The Grassland of Inner Mongolia

Inner Mongolia is the central living area of minorities in north China since ancient times with long-standing and well-established minority union. With time-honored history, each ethnic group in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region developed the frontier and created a culture of great splendor. There are 49 ethnic groups in the region, eight of which have large populations and centralized habitations, including Mongol, Han, Manchu, Hui, Daur, Korean, Evenki and Olunchun. Each minority has its own festivals, so that celebrating spectacles are put on from time to time on the vast grassland.
