Xijiang Miao stockade village, located in the mountainous regions of Guizhou Province, is also named "China's Miao stockade village of one thousand households." It is unique in China and even the whole world. The villages are surrounded by green mountains and crystal-clear rivers, with picturesque landscape and strong Miao ethnic flavor integrated into each other. It is home to the songs and dances of the Miao ethnic group, featuring abundant festivals which are large in scale, rich in content and diversified in form.
