Luoyang Heluo Culture and Tourism Festival 2015 kicked off on September 19. Art troupes from more than 12 countries, including Russia, Spain, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Turkey, Hungry, India and so on, brought the audience amazing shows of various types.
Among them, Ranszagal Art Troupe from Ahmedabad,Gujarat state of India performed traditional Indian dance Dandia Garba. Dandia Garba is a best exemplification of the 2000-year-old Indian dance, following classical Indian style and keeping the original music, dance and costumes, along with which the live audience visited the mysterious and exotic India.
Ranszagal Art Troupe is regarded as a model of protecting and promoting brilliant Indian culture, its cultural heritage and cultural activity. According to Mrs. Ummah, head of the Ranszagal Art Troupe, all members have undergone severe training, and have taken part in lots of international festivals and activities, like Raflarry Art Festival in India and International Kite Festival. It is the first time Ranszagal Art Troupe has participated in Luoyang Heluo Culture and Tourism Festival, through which Mrs. Ummah hopes that Chinese people will have a better understanding of and fall in love with Gujarati folk art.
