Xia Hao, a young scriptwriter in Luoyang was recently nominated for Film Market Award at the 68th Cannes Film Festival. The 30-year-old Xia Hao has been invited to walk the red carpet and to challenge the other top level scriptwriters at the Cannes International Film Festival. He has been nominated for creating the script of the movie "NO. 23."
"NO. 23" is an unconventional drama about a talented young man who's been diagnosed with partial color blindness. He is also a passionate, yet introverted painter, who becomes addicted to a computer and mobile phone virtual world. He pours out his soul to a telephone operator who lives a life dramatically different from his own.
Xia Hao's movie implores people to pay more attention to the digital communications around us, and to care for the people in our lives here and now. Xiao Hao has completed his dream his hometown, Luoyang, to the big screen.
