The whisky's box is in a gun metal grey, designed to echo King George V's service in the Royal Navy and is lined in regal cream silk. The reverse bears a contemporary KGV marquee, which was designed especially for the blend.
According to Lewis Moberly, the decanter is released from its box by lifting a striped silk ribbon with the colours inspired by naval and regal decorations of the period. Each decanter comes with a certificate of authenticity in a script characteristic of the handwriting from King George V's reign.
John Walker & sons is the prestige collection from Scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker.
