Taiwan's Basic Metal Amounted to a Value of $28.7 Billion, Falling by 6.4 Percent

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in December 2012 Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.5 billion, increasing slightly by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month and up 1.1 percent compared to December 2011.

Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders in 2012 amounted to a value of $28.7 billion, falling by 6.4 percent compared to 2011. The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders in 2011 had amounted to a value of $30.65 billion, up 12.94 percent compared to 2010.
