Turkey’s imports of seamless pipes totaled 28,500 tons in November, soaring by 125% year on year and rising by 75% from a month ago, according to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). In November, China was the largest exporter of seamless pipes to Turkey with 15,065 tons; Germany was the second largest one with 3,303 tons and Russia was the third largest one with 3,180 tons. In the first 11 months of 2012, Turkey’s imports of seamless pipes amounted to 229,800 tons, up by 6% year on year.
