Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steel flat re-rolling mills and also one of the major welded pipe manufacturers in Taiwan, has announced its sales revenue in June totaled NT$2.578 billion, falling by 9.2% year on year and decreasing by 20.52% from a month ago.
This number was also the lowest number over the past 30 months.
Chung Hung Steel said that although it has cut the new list prices for hot rolled (HR), cold rolled (CR) and other products, both its sales quantity and production quantity in June have still lower than in May.
In June, its sales quantity was 125,500 tons and its production quantity was 129,000 tons. However, Chung Hung Steel said its order received has picked up in July which may help its July sales revenue to improve.
