Tung Ho Steel's Sales Revenues in The Fourth Quarter of 2012 up Slightly

Tung Ho Steel, one of the major electric furnace mills and steel long products suppliers in Northern Taiwan announced that its sales revenues in the fourth quarter of 2012 totaled NT$8.631 billion, up slightly from a quarter ago.

The company said due to the weak demand from 3C industry's plant construction projects, its capacity utilization for its steel sections in 2012 were only 60% in average. However, the company’s rebar sales stayed firmly.

Tung Ho Steel also reported its total sales revenue in whole 2012 amounted to NT36.787 billion, down by 2.98% year on year.

For prospect, it’s expected that rebar demands will be pushed up by the local construction projects in January and it will help Tung Ho Steel’s rebar production capacity utilization rate to stay at 90%.

Accordingly, Tung Ho Steel may have better sales numbers in this January.
