According to statistics, Japan exported 1.018 million tons hot rolled coil (HRC) in February, rising by 3.9% from a month ago and increasing by 15.6% year on year.
The HRC export prices averaged at US$576.4/ton FOB, down by 0.8% month on month and declining by 16.5% year on year.
Among them, 208,990 tons were exported to Korea, soaring by 343%; 43,461 tons were to China, rising by 29.4%, both compared to the figures in a month ago.
