In The Given Period Crude Steel Production in Belarus Increased by 3.3 Percent

According to data released by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, in 2012the value of metallurgical production in Belarus increased by four percent compared to 2011 to BYR 39.859 trillion ($4.6 billion).

In particular, in the given period crude steel production in Belarus increased by 3.3 percent to 2.869million mt, the output of rolled steel went up by 5.7 percent to 2.596 million mt, while production of steel pipes moved up by 7.4 percent to 226,900 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
