Quintain Steel, one of the major wire products manufacturers in Taiwan said that its combined sales revenue totaled NT$1.656 billion in the first quarter of this year, rising by 11.7% from a quarter ago.
To look the second quarter, Quintain Steel said as most of its clients have over-purchased in the first quarter, they will still have stocks in hand. Also, the market prices for wire products may stay flat in the second quarter and most of its clients will not on hurry to start for new purchasing.
Thus, the company's shipping volumes in the second quarter might be little bit lower than the first quarter and its second quarter sales profit should be able to stay at the same level of the first quarter.
