Bahra Is Specialized in The Production

Bahra Cables Company, an affiliate of Saudi-based Construction Products Holding Company has signed SAR 400 million contract for supply of low and medium voltage cables to Saudi Electricity Company in 2013.

Mr Talal Idriss CEO of Bahra Cables said that "Bahra is specialized in the production and distribution of power cables and aims to become the main developer for low, medium and high voltage cables in Saudi Arabia."

Mr Idrissarked said that "We are pleased with the great confidence shown by the Saudi Electricity Company for our products. Our products meet the highest international standards and this is documented by the various accreditation certificates such as and others for its production of power cables."

He said that Bahra Cables is the first Saudi cable manufacturer to have got the ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 accreditation. The company has also won ISO 9001: 2008 certificates for its collection of medium and high voltage cables up to 132 kV. In view of the high demand for our products, we expanded our production of power cables to meet the needs of large companies both locally and internationally.

Mr Idriss said that Bahra has been involved with several key projects in the Gulf and Africa, starting with the airport project in Senegal, Metro Al Mashaer in Makkah, the new King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, the expansion of Holy Mosque in Makkah, Princess Nora Bint Abdulrahman University for Girls in Riyadh, King Saud University and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Kaust).
