The Stainless Steel Products of US's Import License Decreased by 7.68% From a Month Ago

According to data released by the US Department of Commerce (DOC), the US’s import license for stainless steel products decreased by 7.68% from a month ago to 97,740 tons in February.

Among them, the import licenses for cold rolled stainless steel products totaled 22,244 tons, falling by 3,212 tons; those for hot rolled stainless steel products were at 7,911 tons, decreasing by 4,170 tons, both compared to those in a month ago.

Meanwhile, China’s exports of cold rolled stainless steel sheets to the US were at 2,612 tons, decreasing by 2,499 tons from a month earlier.
