INTERFAX-CHINA reported that thermal power output growth in China turned positive in November,rising 4.9%on an annual basis to 608.88 terawatt hours,following seven consecutive months of declines.
Mr Jiang Kejun a researcher with the National Development and Reform Commission told Interfax that"An improving economy pushed up overall power demand,noting that thermal accounts for approximately 80 percent of total domestic power production."
