Passive component maker Yageo has reported revenues of NT$2.34 billion (US$77.21 million) for March, up 26.2% sequentially and 7.1% on year. For the first quarter of 2014, revenues amounted to NT$6.55 billion, increasing 10.3% from a year earlier.
March sales increased across all regions, with demand from the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) market and the Greater China area posting the most growth, Yageo said.
Sales of all product segments also reported gains in March as compared to the previous month, with shipments to the consumer product, telecom and distribution sectors increasing significantly, Yageo added.
