According to statistics, Turkey imported 29,000 tons of stainless steel wide strips in January, falling by 8.4% year on year while rising by 8.9% from a month ago.
In January, the country’s import revenues generated by stainless steel wide strips totaled US$73.3 million, decreasing by 15.3% year on year while rising by 8.6% from a month earlier.
In 2012, Turkey imported 350,542 tons of stainless steel wide strips, up by 0.8%. The country’s import revenues of stainless steel wide strips were at US$917.4 million, falling by 13.4% year on year.
