The European Stainless Steel Output in January,Decreasing Slightly by 1% Year on Year

The European stainless steel output totaled around 7.5 million tons in January, decreasing slightly by 1% year on year, according to report of the Germany-based steel service center Damstahl.

Besides, Damstahl said that the stainless steel market situation in northern Europe is quite different from that in southwestern Europe. The demand from the fabricators in German, Austrian, Czech and Dutch improved in March but the demand from Italy, Spain and France remain sluggish.
