According to data released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey’s imports of stainless steel flat products totaled 26,691 tons in last December, falling by 10.4% from a month ago and decreasing by 12.6% year on year.
In last December, the country’s import revenues generated by stainless steel flat products were at US$67.5 million, declining by 10.1% from a month ago and falling by 18.4% year on year.
In 2012, Turkey imported 355,542 tons of stainless steel flat products, up by 0.8% year on year.
The country’s import vales generated by stainless steel flat products amounted to US$917.4 million in 2012, falling by 13.4% year on year.
