China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure) recorded the amount insured of USD 286.61 billion in the first three quarters of this year, growing 16.7% over a year earlier.
The amount insured of short-term and medium- and long-term export credit insurance hit USD 230.53 billion and USD 5.37 billion, respectively, and the amount insured of overseas investment rental insurance hit USD 23.42 billion. The export credit insurance covers 14.6% of China's exports and serves 24,000 small and micro enterprises and the coverage of small and micro enterprises' exports hits 12.0%.
From January to September, the company paid compensations of USD 870 million to enterprises, including USD 370 million in the third quarter, the highest quarterly compensation paid by the company this year.
