Japan's Exports of Steel Wire Products in January,Falling by 5.5% From a Month Ago

According to statistics, Japan’s exports of steel wire products totaled 44,075 tons in January, falling by 5.5% from a month ago and decreasing by 2.7% year on year.

The export prices of steel wire products averaged at US$777.2/ton, falling by 3.5% from a month earlier and dropping by 17% year on year.

In January, Korea was the largest importer of the Japanese steel wire products with 10,765 tons, increasing by 71.6% month on month. The export prices averaged at US$728.6/ton, decreasing by 3.2% from month ago.
