MENAFN reported that Pluton Resources Limited from Australia will ship the first batch of iron ores to China, becoming one more burgeoning small iron ore supplier from Western Australia.
The first batch of iron ores totaling 43,000 tonne will be shipped to a Chinese port in east China on this Sunday or next Monday, worth USD 4 million. Due to their low tenor, their supply prices will have 10% discount from current spot prices.
A JV formed between Pluton Resources and a Hong Kong energy trader plans to export iron ores of 3 million tonne to China in the future 30 months and ship three batches of iron ores each month by the end of 2013.
