Japanese Steel Mills Will Increase The Prices of Its Hot Rolled Coils for April Shipments

It’s reported that the Japanese steel mills will increase the prices of its hot rolled coils for April shipments for the customers in the regions such as Latin America and Middle East.

Accordingly, their prices will reach to the level of US$680~US$690/ton CFR for the Latin American region and the still lower level of USD$630~US$640/ton CFR for Middle East.

Meanwhile, Russian mills are offering US$630~US$640/ton CFR which are significantly low compared with those in Central and South America.

It is said that as a result that the Asian mills are not active for export to Central and South America, for the reasons that a feeling of a tightened position of supply and demand can be seen on Hot Rolled coils in that region.
