According to Hebei Metallurgy Industry Association, the profit of 65 key steel mills aggregated CNY 1.358 billion reversing the deficit of 721 million yuan seen in September, owing to warming steel market.
Data show that the total profit of key steel mills in Hebei province came to 2.434 billion yuan, plunging 86.38 percent compared to 17.871 billion yuan seen in the same period of last year and tumbling 93.76 percent versus that in Jan.-Sept., 2012.
All of the steel products have seen a small rise in October and composite China steel index went up 2.63 percent month on month.
