According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported 91,216 tons of stainless coils in the first quarter of this year, down by 0.6% year on year. In March alone, the country’s stainless coils totaled 33,752 tons, rising by 19% from February and increasing by 6.7% year on year.
In the first quarter of this year, Taiwan was the largest exporter of the stainless coils to Turkey with 22,665 tons, rising by 22% year on year. Meanwhile, Germany was the second largest one with 8,900 tons and Finland was the third largest one with 8,600 tons.
