Parador plans to post turnover of €143-145m in 2012. The company employed about 600 workers and generated turnover of €135m in 2011, an increase of a good 5%. Parador’s laminate flooring activities delivered an improvement of roughly 3% last year. Its parquet operations fared even better, with revenues jumping 20%. The company’s export rate stood at 47%. Managing director Volkmar Halbe said that most of the firm‘s exports were destined for other European countries. Parador’s products are sold by 4, 500 merchants in 65 countries.
