New Balance Athletic Shoe reported 2013 worldwide sales of $2.73 billion, a gain of 14.2 percent over 2012 reported worldwide sales of $2.39 billion.
The figures were reported in a press release announcing the signing of its latest Team New Balance triathlete, reigning ITU World Champion Non Stanford.
The 14.2 percent gain marks New Balance's third straight year of double digit growth with sales rising 12.2 percent in 2012 and 14.6 percent in 2011.
The company has been growing steadily since 2006, when sales were flat. Global sales were $2.04 billion in 2011, $1.78 billion in 2010, $1.65 billion in 2009, $1.64 billion in 2008, $1.63 billion in 2007, $1.55 billion in 2006.
The company has not disclosed U.S. sales for 2013. In 2012, U.S. sales were $1.18 billion, representing 51. 5 percent of sales. U.S. Sales grew 8.3 percent in 2012.
Beyond New Balance, the company's brands include Aravon, Brine, Cobb Hill, Dunham, PF-Flyers and Warrior.
