Steel Sales of Ilva Are Expected to Decrease by 2 Million Mt Compared to 2012

Steel sales of Italian steelmaker Ilva are expected to decrease by 2 million mt compared to 2012, while steel production is expected to decline from 8.3 million mt in 2012 to 6,3 million mt in 2013, according to a report issued by Enrico Bondi, who was appointed special commissioner for Ilva by the Italian government on June 4 this year.

It is also estimated that Ilva's revenues in 2013 will total around €3.65 billion, while the company's investments in 2013 will amount approximately to €160 million, with €100 million of this spent on interventions to improve environmental safety.
