According to data released by the Latin America Steel Association (Alacero), Latin America's imports of finished steel products totaled 3.9 million in the first nine months of this year, rising by 23% year on year. In the given period of time, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Central America were the main destinations of the Chinese finished steel products with 1 million tons, 543,223 tons, 506,332 tons and 501,134 tons.
