Affected by sluggish demand, the rebar prices dipped by US$15~US$20/ton in Colombian market early this month. In fact, the rebar prices had ever stood at US$840~US$850/ton in the Colombian market in the first quarter of this year. However, the steel mills have no choice but to cut prices in order to gain order due to weak demand. At present, the rebar prices have dropped to US$820~US$835/ton.
