Suzuki has announced that it would be recalling 19,249 in North America, because spiders may weave a web in evaporative canister vent of its Kizashi.
The recall affects 2010-2013 Kizashi vehicles that were manufactured between October 2009 through July 2012.
If the evaporative canister vent is blocked by the invasion of spider web, it could result in huge amount of Negative pressure which can crack the fuel tank resulting in fuel leak or fire.
The Japanese car maker will notify the owners, and the users of the car will have to take their cars to the respective dealers to get the evaporative canister vent checked.
