Lexus, a luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Toyota, has unveiled its new 2013 CT 200h hybrid compact car.
The new compact car is powered by a 1.8litre petrol engine, which is paired with an electric motor to generate a total output of 134hp, while the second motor in the hybrid system will serve as engine starter and will also charge the hybrid battery pack.
According to Lexus, the new hybrid will offer EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 42mpg.
The new hybrid also comes with three driving modes that include Normal, Sport and ECO, which will enable the driver to improve the driving experience by using the new Lexus Drive Mode selector.
Features of the new 200h Hybrid include standard eight-airbag supplemental restraint system (SRS) and optional pre-collision system (PCS) with dynamic radar cruise control.
The new compact will also feature F SPORT-tuned suspension and 17-inch wheels.
