It's reported that Benxi Steel released its price policy for June recently. The company decided to cut the prices for hot rolled plates/coils by RMB200/ton. Also, it reduced the prices for cold rolled sheets/coils and galvanized steel sheets by RMB100/ton respectively. After the adjustment, its ex-work prices for Q235 hot rolled plates/coils with thickness of 3mm are at RMB3,670/ton; those for DC01 cold rolled sheets/coils with thickness of 1mm are at RMB4,180/ton. The above prices exclude 17% VAT and have become effective from May 21st, 2013.
