China exported 930,600 tons of stainless steel plates in the first nine months of this year, slumping by 31.45% year on year, according to statistics released by the China’s Customs.
Among them, 258,000 tons were cold rolled stainless steel sheet, falling by 37.32%; 435,200 tons were hot rolled stainless medium and wide plates, decreasing by 29.67%; all compared to that in the same period of a year ago.
At the same time, the country’s imports of stainless steel plates totaled 394,400 tons, decreasing by 27.99% year on year.
Among them, 151,800 tons were cold rolled stainless steel, falling by 37.78% and 113,000 tons were hot rolled stainless medium and wide plates, sliding by 19.7%, both compared to that in the same period of the previous year.
