According to data released by the Korean Iron and Steel Association (KOSA), Korea's exports of hot rolled (HR) stainless steel plates totaled 47,441 tons in March, falling by 18.5% from a month ago and decreasing by 6.9% year on year. Meanwhile, the export prices averaged at US$1,930/ton, rising by 0.6% month on month. Among them, 27,660 tons were exported to Southeast Asia; 13,032 tons were to Europe and 5,922 tons were too Northeast Asia. To specify steel grades, the exports of 300 grades totaled 25,574 tons; those of 400 grades were at 21,790 tons.
