The US's Stainless Shipments in January,Rising by 5,308 Tons From a Month Ago

According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute, the US's stainless shipments totaled 157,759 tons in January, rising by 5,308 tons from a month ago while falling by 5.5% year on year. Among them, 9,441 tons were hot rolled (HR) stainless steel products, surging by 3,793 tons; 11,401 tons were cut-to-length plate, rising by 2,280 tons and 3,888 tons were wire rods, increasing by 1,256 tons and 26,627 tons were cold rolled narrow strips, up by 1,025 tons.
