According to data released by the US Department of Commerce (DOC), the country's imports of steel products totaled 2.344 million tons in November, falling by 16.7% from a month ago and decreasing by 4.9% year on year. In November, the US's imports of steel products from China totaled 148,000 tons, slumping by 24.3% from a month ago but rising by 2.5% year on year. In the January-November period, the country's imports of steel products amounted to 26.885 million tons, down by 4.4% in comparison of the figures in the same period of 2012.
