EZZ Steel Will Adjust More Proportion to Export to Fund Imports of Raw Materials

Egypt's EZZ Steel exported big percentage of rebar before 2007, but adjusted the long product sales to mainly on domestic market contributed to local strong demand. In 2012, export accounted only 3% of its long products but now they would adjust more proportion to export as they are working to increase its dollar reserves to fund imports of raw materials. Currently, around 10-15% of rebar being allocated to export but they set to increase it to 20%.
