United States Imported Steel in November 2013 Dipped by 16.7%

According to the statistics, the United States imported 2,584,000 tons of steel in November, 2013, dipped by 16.7% and the year to date total amount is 29.63 million in 2013, down by 4% compared with the same period of time previous year. For the first eleven months, Korea is on the top of the list as the suppliers in overseas to the United States with 3.,41 million tons of steel while China exported 1,755,000 of tons as the top two on the list, followed by Japan at 1,746,000 net tons, Turkey at 1,159,000 net tons and Germany at 1,017,000 net tons. China has increased at around 18% of steel export to the US compared with the same period of time in 2012 while the steel exports from the other four countries are down by 2% to 12%.
