Italy's long steel output amounted to 1.003 million mt in February this year, down 8.7 percent year on year, after two months in a row of increase on year-on-year basis, according to the Italian steel producers association Federacciai.
In the first two months of the current year, Italian long steel output fell 3.8 percent compared to the same period of 2012, declining to 1.865 million metric tons, which is similar to the volume produced during the corresponding period of 2010.
