Capacitor supplier Lelon Electronics saw its revenues surgeA transient variation in the current and/or potential at a point in the circuit. 40.5% sequentially and 13.5% on year to NT$535 million (US$17.76 million) in March, buoyed by orders from the server, networking and telematics segments.
Sales of electrolytic capacitors hit a historic high of NT$434 million in March, up 56.5% on month and 20.2% on year.
For the first quarter of 2014, revenues amounted to NT$1.37 billion, increasing 10.7% from a year earlier.
Order visibility for some items has extended to July, indicating that sales will continue to ramp up month-on-month in the second quarter, according to industry sources.
