General Administration of Quality Supervision Recalled 337 Units of Vehicles

General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine in a statement said that Jaguar Land Rover,British based automaker has recalled 337 units of vehicles in China from December 25

The quality watchdog said the recall will involve 190 Range Rover Evoque vehicles and Freelander 2 vehicles,which were produced on June 11,2012.The faulty rear brake pliers in these vehicles may lead to braking failure.

Meanwhile the automaker will recall 147 Range Rover Evoque vehicles,which were produced between August 20,2012 and September 18,2012.The automaker said the fixed bolt in these vehicles'steering box might be loose.

According to a statement,the automaker fixed all the affected vehicles at no charge cost.

In the eleven month of 2012,Jaguar Land Rover sold a total of 65,146 vehicles in China,73.1%more than it sold in the same period of 2011.
