Russian steel mill, Rostov Steelworks (REMZ) announced that it will shut down its melt shop for maintenance around ten days in November. Traders said that it will have no allocation for export during the maintenance. The mill produces about 70,000 tons of semis per month. REMZ is actually under Vadim Varshavsky, who also has had control over the Ukraine-based mill DEMZ currently. However, it is reported that the management is going to transfer to a local scrap supplier, KVV Group. Yet, this saying is not approved by the company.
