The Northern European Steelmakers Have Sought to Raise HRC Prices for Next Q1

It's reported that the Northern European steelmakers have sought to raise hot rolled coil (HRC) prices to €460~€470/ton for the first quarter of 2014. In fact, the production lines of the German steelmakers and some manufacturers in North Europe have been fully-booked until end of this year. The European steelmakers have tried to remain the HRC prices flat due to weak demand and low-priced imports.
