The China's Exports of CR Steel to Mexico Was Triple in The First Half This Year

It is learned that the China's exports of cold rolled (CR) steel to Mexico was triple in the first half this year. According to Mexican's steel body CANACERO, the cold rolled steel imported from China increased 267%, reached to 26,384 tons from 7,199 tons in the same period of 2012. CANACERO thinks this increase of steel import from China would cause damage toward scheduled investment around US$11.5 billion in the next four years and US$4 billion in the domestic steel supply chain. Besides, there are 4000 jobs affected monthly by such import of "illegal practices", according to Mexican Workers Conference.
