According to data released by the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), the country's sales of steel products totaled 3 million tons in the first eight months of this year, up by 3% year on year. Meanwhile, it's expected that the country's demand for steel products would rise in the fourth quarter of this year, driven by active construction activity in the given period of time. Therefore, it's predicted that Vietnam's sales of steel products would be at around 5 million tons in the whole of 2013, rising by 3%~5% year on year.
