Affected by falling scrap prices in international market, Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product manufacturers in Taiwan have cut it rebar price by NT$200/ton yesterday for this week. Accordingly, it's said that the rebar mills in southern Taiwan might follow Feng Hsin's step to cut rebar prices as well. It's said that some of them have already announced to decrease rebar prices by NT$200/ton for this week. After the adjustment, the new rebar prices are in the range of NT$17,300/ton to NT$17,100/ton in the Taiwanese market.
