Reportedly, Indonesia's steel export values totaled US$901.3 million in July, rising by 15% from a month ago, according to data released by Statistics Indonesia (BPS). In July, the country's import values of articles of iron and steel dropped by 2.41% from a month ago to US$360.8 million. In the first seven months of this year, Indonesia's steel import values amounted to US$6.3 billion, remaining flat from the same period of 2012. At the same time, the country's import values of articles of iron and steel totaled US$2.96 billion, rising by 8.48% year on year.
